The reason when I first bought a RED was because in theory I wouldn't be sacrificing my DSLR option for cool images, on the MX to be honest the Still images was pretty sad compared to my DSLR, I haven't used that much the EPIC-W but this Images came out pretty cool.

    What do you guys think?

Honestly I Don't remember quite sure, but was with a 35mm at normal ISO 800, and probably 1/100 f/2.8

I get pretty decent stills with my 6K Weapon but I'm counting on getting much better stills with the 8K Helium. I'd love to see more examples of 8K stills.

I've been tied up with a lot of editing, but I am planning a few more fashion and glamour shoots that I'm going to be using my Helium for in the next couple of weeks. I'll also dig up some of the R3Ds from my first test shoot and share them. (Feel free to remind me. :) )

The Epic MX and Dragon are perfectly fine to capture great stills, exposure is the key, granted they don't like low light.....something the weapon/ helium fixes but as long as you have a decent exposure you can get fantastic results.
