    Also, what diopters is everyone using for their square fronts/ old lenses? Are 138mm Tiffens fitting? And what strengths do you find yourselves using most often?

    What a great thread. Ilya you legend!

    I too have had problems with SquareFronts on Alexa Mini, namely my NAS 35mm SF. It won't even mount let alone block infinity distance due to rotating rear element as it pulls. Which is a real shame as 4:3 / open gate on Alexa with these lenses looks so damn good with the extra FoV / DoF etc from the taller Alexa sensor.

    Hey, Craig,
    your problem with HAC 35 mm is a tabs (I dont know how they are called) on the locknut if I understood correctly what you meant :), they just hit the body of the lens. You can simply take them out and put under them some shims and these tabs will be higher and shouldn't touch the lens. And then you will be able to fit the lens into the arri mini

    Has anybody had there lomos overhauled? Ive tried to get in touch with eastern enterprises with no such luck. Id love to have my set freshened up! I love the look of them

    We do a lot of that. Service, repairs including glass polishing and recoating, upgrades, rehousings. Per customer request.
