I just don't get it, I'm a veteran Steadicam Op with 20 years experience in stabilizing cameras both on land, sea and in the air, and have embraced the gimbal explosion to no end, I think its brilliant! I've had MoVi M10's, M15's and the Ronin's.... and I also own Tilta products... which are brilliant.... but for the life of me cannot understand why with all the fantastic technological leaps and bounds that we have achieved in the recent years to conquer the perfect horizon.... WHY are we still having to deal with cables? Why can't Tilta/FreeFly/DJI bring out a Gimbal that has slip-rings which carry not only your camera power, but your HDMI, HD-SDI via a BNC, Time code and Aux Power..... I'm so fed up of being handed a ball of spaghetti... and saying its better than a Steadicam... if all the cables were run externally on a Steadicam we'd simply not buy it or just send it back... the days of 'Meccano Gimbals' need to end!

I thought I remember Tilta talking about a slip ring of some sort, but I don't have it in front of me at the moment. I'll check and let ya know. I do know the SDI cable has already been integrated and they have some power integration as well.

Damn that's a good price. Really good. My only fear is movi coming out w something awesome. How is the stabilization compared to movi? I know it's strong, but what about the other aspects of the software?

It has performed really well in my testing/use. Who knows what lies ahead in terms of new products coming...I just know this one is amazing even at full MSRP...but at this price, how could you not?
