    Hi everybody,
Before buying Celere HS I would know if someone already had mechanicals issues with those lenses?

Not yet but its an indie Swiss film. So it won't have any international display (out of festivals).

    Just wrapped a sci-fi feature shot on 18.5-85 5k & 6k dragon, STH OLPF.

Used every lens extensively from T1.5 up to T13 with Formatt Firecrest 95mm screw ons/Schneider Linear pola

Challenging dance balancing sharpness sweet spots & CA while pushing Dragon lattitude as hard to both sides as possible. Great results overall

Great still samples, Rob. If it's not too much trouble, could you tell us a bit about where you found the sweet spot of the Celere lenses in various situations?

That would require an essay on each of the primes. They behave differently on breathing/CA/sharpness. Overall --

Best below T11 for overall image quality. Hard to find focus between ~5.6-13 off the RED 5" monitor

T3-T5 is my favorite zone for these. Nice breathing and CA is minimal or gone.

Sharpness will fall off below T2. Dial in back focus if you go there. I constantly tweaked back focus to get some in camera background effects the director asked for, had to adjust it back when wide open.

I love the 18.5, glad I bought it. Great set

EDIT: Focus problems on the 25-85 were due to some off elements. Sent these in and had them checked, they got them back to me from 6 weeks of ship to date fixed under warranty. Not bad!
