    CLOSED.

Hey gang. The folks at Trost are offering a juicy deal on their sliders again. I had a chance to also try the new Motion Kit with multi-axis extensions from Ditogear.
But first, The Trost Slider deal.

    - 25% discount for Trost M-series slider; quantity = 10 sliders or more
    - 30% discount for Trost M-series sider; quantity = 20 sliders or more
    - 40% discount for Trost M-series slider; quantity = 30 sliders or more

Keep in mind that if you order a double axis bundle, it will count as 2 units!

For the Ditogear deal, only the motion kit plus 3 axis extension kit will be discounted. This is the one in my video review.

    - 30% discount for DitoGear MotionKit + Multi-Axis Extension Kit (3-axis); quantity = 10 kits or more

Regular Prices for the Trost Sliders are:
    M100 $1795
    M50 $1695
    M100+M50 $3299

Regular Price for the DitoGear MotionKit + Multi-Axis Extension Kit (3-axis) is: $5748.91 (not including slider)
    - Lifetime warranty
    - Free UPS shipping within USA and Canada
    - International DHL Shipping is flat $200
    - Will be shipped next day after payment is received.

Motion Kit and 3 Axis Kit Includes:

    • Evolution Interface & Software
    • Trito
    • SmoothWheel
    • DitoGear™ OmniHead
    • 15mm support rods adapter plate + Rods
    • 2 axis Power & Signal Cable Set
    • Power Pack 7Ah
    • Wedge
    • DitoGear™ LensDrive
    • Cinevate Lens Geared Rings Pack
    • 1 axis Power & Signal Cable Set
    • Power Splitter B

My review only touched upon using the Motion Control stuff for video work. Naturally, the gear is super suited for timelapse productions.

The group buy will end July 1st.

Bob, can I ask what you used as a tie down for the Trost when it was flat on the ground? I cant find anything low profile enough.

Sorry Ketch. Its tough when the products are from different companies. Perhaps I can poke them for a deal on that.

    i min for a slider!
i do wish they just kept their design that mounted the head over the slider instead of on the side, but oh well.
any word if they fixed the coating on the metal that i was hearing about corrosion problems after about a year?
