Munich 9th of June, 24°C sunny - 13:55 a van is approaching in direction of my house and is dropping 2 boxes, after 14 months the wait is over.

A big thanks to John Restivo, Brent and Kelly who take really good care of me.
From my origiginal order I´m just missing the EVF and the ET 19mm base plate.

I´m a very happy man ;) and when my wife comes home from work, we´ll open a bottle of champagne ;)

I´m very happy with the mechanical parts: Handles work fine, Cradle locks the Red Drive perfectly in place, Batteries (im using Swit LiIons) work fine on cradle and Universal Battery plate, no wiggling no nothing. I´ve one 160Wh swit battery on now for a bit more than 90min and it says still 50% full so I´m happy with my battery choice (and they´re even cheaper than the Red ones ;)

Will use the Shoulder Dovetail and Baseplate until the 19mm Base arrives with adding some Tape to the sides it fits quite nice with the camera.

Thanks again to all the RED Staff and to Jim to make that Camera come true.

Will add photos later, going out now to shoot some stuff

    Manuel - happy #1809 owner :)))

@jimPress: The Pelican Cases are standard cases from a local reseller, it´s a 1600 and the smaller a 1520. this time i plugged out the foam myself, but after i have the EVF & Mount and the Arri Baseplate i have a company that will do custom inlays.

@trick: Swit S-8172S at a shoot today the where powering the camera almost 3hours, Recharging takes a bit more then 3 hours. I´m very happy with the batteries. Bought it via BandPro in Munich.

thanks for all your nice comments, footage will follow soon :)
