Back up help in St. Louis

I'm sad to say the RED situation in St. Louis is pretty grim. The atmosphere out here is not like the larger markets. A lot of people are so competitive that they do not support one another, and back-biting is huge.

There is only one RED out here currently (Mine) and there are no professional houses or owner/ops that have one I can go to for support or a backup in case of an emergency.

I have made TONS of friends on REDUser, and 99% of you are working professionals who understand the importance of "community" and supporting each other. Sadly, that does not exist out here, in large measure anyway.

So on the chance that I may have missed a RED owner who is somewhat close to St. Louis, and wants to excersice some mutual support, PLEASE contact me. I can provide a backup in case of emergency, and I would ask you to do the same.

I'm not close, but we have Reds, glass and accessories if you get in a pinch. We're a small two owner house with a relatively large inventory. Happy to help when needed.

I hear you on the proximity thing though . . . there's just nothing better than someone up the street or just across town.

There's currently a pretty active RED market here in Nashville. We've got about 30 shows (mostly music videos, some commercials) under our belt since the beginning of the year with 4 bodies in shop and several seasoned Red DPs and DITs. We also just picked up Scratch-Cine and have good working relationships with several post houses in the area. I'm sure we could figure something out to lend a hand seeing as you're basically the next market over.

Hi Jay,
I'm based in Cincinnati and have 2 RED packages, a dozen Cooke primes & 2 x Cooke zooms, tons of Arri accessories, Ronford sticks, Arri gear heads, O'Connor 2575 fluid heads, over 100 P-size filters, all the shit.
As a DP/owner, I never rent my gear out but would be happy to form a mutual relationship with someone who has a need, and vice-versa.
I shot the feature APOCALYPSE AND THE BEAUTY QUEEN in your city a few years back as well as several Sci-Fi Channel pictures..please don;t hold that against me! But I have some mutal G&E friends in your market as well.
