Just downloaded Red Alert and Red Cine along with Red line???? not sure what redline is? but it came with the download for red alert. Anyway, trying to open some files that I shot recently and when i open red alert--it opens just fine....then I go to file at the top of the screen, then open R3d file...go to my files, and click on an r3d file....it crashes and red alert just goes away. I then open red alert again and go through the same process to get another crash.

I then downloaded red alert again and same thing....Anyone have some fix/advise? I'm on a new Mac desktop with all the latest updates running 10.4.11 dual core intel

Thanks for any help on this.

If it might make a differance I'm using a usb connection. I can't find the proper fire wire tonight. Just checked my images direct from the camera and hard drive and they are all intact, but not so when i view on my computer the qt wrapper files---actually 1/2 ---the bottom half is just fuzz.

Exactly the same story as mine. We got our camera yesterday and I was to capture a footage from Raid and Red Alert quits, whenever I am trying to open r3d files. Can anybody help us?

You have to use Redcine (or Scratch) for 4k 16:9 - other apps will always crash.

  8. #8 Thanks for Red Alert
I am trying to import shots from the camera (actually raid), and in RedCine I am having grey screen, instead of icons. Can you help me with that as well? If I switch off color, I see bad quality image, of my footage.
