Many years ago, when I worked for Digital Processing Systems (DPS), NAB was considered the largest trade show in the world. Does it still hold that title? I'm not sure if "largest" meant greatest number of vendors or number of visitors, though.

Based on the tech whispers going around, this years NAB should be a very good show. RED will have a lot of competitors stepping up to take a swing at them and the companies making software/hardware and other stuff will have some exceptional product offerings coming out next year.

don't know about this NAB, but yes, they're working on the new line of anamorphic lenses, i just got reply from LOMO's vice president, he was nice and even came forward with the question if 'we' have any wishes or concerns they would keep in mind during development. My only request was - please place them in the price range of CP2s :)

How much does NAB 2015 cost in order to get onto the general floor, including the Red booth? What type of pass do people generally buy?

    Thanks,
    Mike

You can usually find sponsors and partners that offer free Floor Exhibit passes (meaning no conferences or lectures). Just google NAB free tix and a few should show up.

Yes so many vendors will get you a free pass.
