I had a play with the latest version on Thursday and it really is a great follow focus. They really have thought of everything with this FF unit.
Everyone who is still interested in purchasing one you really won't be disappointed. It really is down to the fine details, the gearing and getting the smoothness of that pull perfect.
It's made so everything can be accessed and modified with gloves on or if any of you have thinker fingers. It makes a difference, especially with my fat fingered crew ;-)

I agree it's hard to wait for something that you were hoping to get earlier, but the last thing you want when spending hard earned cash is something that will fall apart after a couple of uses or if there is too much play in the focus knob and gearing.
The BT Revolvr is built very well and luckily looks very nice too.

Some times , good products take some time to evolve, and that shows that the company doesnt compromises and always improving instead of getting out there fast . Maybe you wait longer, but then again telling a company how to deal with their decisions and announcements , its not a thing to do, since being a customer is one thing, being a company that wants to insure their investment in a good production is another.

I think its a great product like Phil says above. Worth the wait.

prototype or not its a great tool. And if its great as a prototype it will be better in production.

Companies that look into perfection , care more to release something perfected rather than something that will lead you come on this board complaining that its failed. I always wait if I think its worth it , and there are always solutions for solving our filming needs while waiting.

I trust more companies like this, than companies that release products with a lot of buzz around them only to prove that then they need to redesign to V2,3,4 etc and the buyer ends up paying more at the end. But thats just me. Others might have a different opinion.

Hang on. I thought people on this list were entitled to a discount already.
At least that was the idea I got from Rob...

If you're already on the list that is true. Read Nick's post again... He's saying the interest list is closed and therefore no one NEW can be added to the list. If you're on the list, you have the option of participating in the group buy when it happens at the discounted group rate...
