    EDIT (10/10/14) :

foolcontrol for iOS is now available in the App Store !

    https://itunes.apple.com/app/foolcontrol/id888231700

If you are on iPad you will find it in the 'iPhone Apps'...

The iOS version is not locked to any camera model or PIN (just like the OS X 'universal' license).

    ------------------------------------------------------------

With the mac version now on good track I started porting much of it to iPhone

Go to my twitter @mikasky to see the first super early screenshots...

    And I have one question...
    Anyone still using iPhone 4 / 4s ?
Due to limited screen space I'd rather go 5 / 5s / 5c and iPod Touch 4th gen only with taller screen...

    Any input on this ?

    Thanks

I would rather use an iPad with the greater real estate.

Yes, but this will give me a reason to upgrade

Mikael's forthcoming iPhone app is REALLY bad ass. I'm torturing him directly with ideas for features :)

I know a LOT of ACs that are gonna LOVE this. Bigtime.

And you can buy a retina iTouch now for $229 and velcro that sucker to the camera :)

I use 4s, but it will be due for an upgrade with the next gen. release. I imagine many will be in the same boat.

In fact one cannot restrict an app to taller iPhones as the smaller ones are capable of running iOS 7... So will have to do a double design anyway or use scrollers when needed...

Hopefully in June if I manage to spend enough time on it...

At the moment REDLINK bridge only works on beta camera firmware... But will try to have that app finished as soon as possible and ready to roll whenever RED's 'release firmware' supporting RCP will be out.

FWIW foolcontrol OS X or RED's iPad app have the same FW limitation but are available for download now.
