I need a slightly longer cable to get the LCD monitor where I want it. Red does not have any options at this time, but at Red Day last week they were happy to sell us the Lemo connectors so that we could make our own cable.

However, I just contacted Red support and they will not release the pinouts or schematics or specs for this cable at this time. They will refund us if we want to return the Lemos, but that does not get us a cable.

Does anyone know the deatails on this cable? Are all pins wired? Do they match straight across? If we run pin 1 to pin 1, for example, are we okay? Are there any specs on the cable itself?

Does anyone know of a source where these cables may be available so that I can avoid the entire build process?

    Thanks for any help.

If you have a working cable and a multitester you could figure it out yourself, couldn't you?

It would seem, but I'm not going to do the actual work. I'm not that skilled with soldering so many wires in such small connector. I've taken it to two techs who have made cables for me in the past. They say that they can't take it far enough apart since the original cable has molded strain reliefs. Perhaps they just don't want to put in the effort. I know we can crack it, I was just hoping that the info was available to save time.

Can't you save yourself the headache and figure out another way to mount your LCD? Try something new?
