Gotta love that New York attitude!

I'm not going to get into a pissing match with someone of your credits. I just find it odd that a high-end professional has the gall to tell other professionals they don't know how to do their jobs, simply because they use different tools in different ways.

Look, I don't want to get into a pissing match either. You do it any way you want...I really don't care.

If you have something to contribute to this thread about wireless video monitoring please do so as I am looking into this. If not just let things be.

    Truce.

Check the steadicam forum under video transmitters, a believe there was a long discussion about HD transmitters. Failing that, I plan to have my AJA and modulus live on board. Video transmission is so use full to the AD dept, and everone else for that matter.

  5. #25 Power break out
    Hi all,

What got lost was the GOOD question about break-out/ power box.
Was thinking of a little distribution - to a couple of ARRI style Fischer 3 pin or Hirose plugs so I can run my access in where I need it - at the front end - and have it fused.

I can see a lot of customers wanting wireless sound back to camera and wireless SD out which all need differner currents.
    Anyone on the case? Anders?

None taken. While I appreciate your suggestion, and you're mostly right - you don't know on which purposes I was referring to, what type of focusing tools would be used and what type of monitor.

    Currently with the PowerTap.

The AJA downcoverter is rated at 5W, and the Titan is rated 1.9w so you can power that from the GPI plug on the camera (Has around 15w). The HRS10 4 pin connector is easy to find and solder.

If an AC pulls focus off a monitor, he/she isn't a real AC.

NO professional AC pulls off of a monitor.
