Please PM me if you have RED Primes for sale. We want to buy a complete set but will consider buying them piecemeal.
I've seen a picture of a RED-branded 15mm LWS lens support for the 18-85 zoom but can't find it on RED's website.
Does anyone know about this or have any other recommendations for supporting this...
Thanks for that.
Next question: How to get the output frame to start at one instead of zero?
Does anyone know how to output a whole timeline as linear EXRs ignoring any look corrections that have already been applied?
I'm a believer in fewer cases, as long as the one "monster" case is not too big. Using CAD we were able to get a whole shooting package in a Peli 1620, just barely. But it's extremely elegant and...
Get the dividers if you need an "off the rack" option. The pick and pluck foam starts to disintegrate almost immediately.
And I'm sure the Porta-Brace beats the Pelican, but I've never tried it....
FITZGERALD CAMERA DETROIT and LOS ANGELES
We have complete, compact, thoughtfully equipped Scarlet-X packages
for rent at great prices in Detroit and Los Angeles, and will ship elsewhere.
Agreed. There are such simple, compact, inexpensive rigs for this that it would be silly to try to shoehorn your shooting camera into this role.
I use my old Nikon D2x, a Sigma 4.5mm fisheye and...
Call or email us. See sig for details, or PM me.
We have great kits for rent, and inexpensive.
Generally you want to shoot HDRIs not from the position of the motion picture camera but from the position of the the virtual object, character etc. This is because you want to record the light...
Use a riser plate and 15mm rod adapter, and a lens support. This will allow the camera to support the lens regardless of what tripod or other rig it is mounted on.
These are not the only...
Les and others,
I do think my test is correct, and the Scarlet has about 14ms read/reset time, which is disappointingly slow. I've repeated it several times and performed it on several cameras. ...
Thanks again, Graeme. That worked perfectly.
Assuming I should use the "magic motion" setting for this?
I cannot find a good solution to this on the forum, nor in the manual.
If I have a 6-stop HDRx clip and I want to convert it to a linear high dynamic range 1920x1080 EXR sequence with all...
Here's an idea:
"resilient rubber caps" might work.
How do you feel that the Scarlet's very apparent rolling shutter is affecting the results? I'm sure the data are compromised (errors and averaging introduced) unless you are moving very slowly in...
Have you double checked that the cables are firmly seated? I know it sounds obvious but this has gotten me a couple of times. Lemos have to wear in a little sometimes before they seat easily.
Noah, I am not sure that the cameras are actually different thought the fan test early in this thread seems to indicate it.
I have only ever tested Scarlet and found it to be a disappointing...
