My Scarlet B-cam is a Battle Tested Scarlet! Main reason for this (other than amazing value) was that I needed a direct backup for single camera shoots, in case someone drops the A-cam. Very useful...
I have one of these (RT Motion) arriving in a week or so, I can report back on it if anyone would find that useful?
Windows (7), no idea where Microsoft are heading with Windows 8, just plain embarassing!
I worked for Apple for a bit and got freaked out by the number of product failures that occured the week...
Haha! You sir, are a genius. Powerful, impressive AND compact!
Good points all round. Still think there's more to it though.
Nail on the head stuff here.
+1
Nice points all round.
However, personally I don't see why RED shouldn't be thinking really big for the future... Although maybe its not as black and white (or should I say monochrome?! :yesnod: )...
They don't have to do anything! - Just a topic to discuss :0)
Would love for RED to make a mobile phone! Hate Apple's built in obsolescence... I wonder how they would approach it?
Speaking of which, where is the line for RED in terms of what they would...
Problem solved: Set Scarlet HDMI output to 1080 60hz - 50hz produces the horizontal shifting.
Hope this works for all of you!
Received my Paralinx Arrow last week and tried it out - Everything looks great although I have got some kind of small glitching going on, as if the image jumps slightly sideways at random intervals...
Anything? Did it happen?!
Yes, everything. The jacket from the Zephyr system is a HUGE advancement on anything 'below' it. The arm is also very important as it's tolerant of up to 10.4kg, which should give you enough play for...
Any luck?
Just bought a Zephyr to use with the Scarlet - Works like a dream. Definitely go for a two day training course to get you started though!
Looking forward to this! Thanks!
One big vote for Red Bricks here, I have three for use with Scarlet and it means we can shoot continuously. Not so great if you're going to shoot abroad at all though as technically they're not...
They are brilliant! Big thumbs up here!
Thanks Josef! From that it looks like mics of this type require no power at all.
Did RED ever release a mini mic on a 3.5mm jack stalk for reference audio on Epic/Scarlet?
Also am I correct i thinking that the Epic/Scarlet supply phantom power through the mini-jack connection?...
Nice one! Thanks! I am indeed running CS6.
Has anyone else found that RED Gamma and Colour 3 are not available in Premiere? Only 2 seems to appear...
Beautiful answers! I was also a wonderer!
...and by all means have a gander at some other photos from our shoot if you are interested; http://leocinicolo.tumblr.com/
Thought I'd join in and grace you with this beauty... Chris, my operator of choice!...
