I got tired o waiting and switched to PC.

Windows 7 works just fine and once you are in the app the OS isnt seen much anyway.

This is where I am at as well.

I agree that the one size fits all model won't work for everyone, but I have been on the "cloud" with Adobe since the beginning and love having the latest updates...

Windows 7 has been boringly reliable running CS6/Resolve on my custom PC.

if you are basing a windows discussion on Vista/XP etc. at least give Windows 7 Pro a try.

I doubt you mean CS6 because it has been rock solid and easy to work between the applications with Red footage.

Avid's DNxHD is cross platform.

And free.

Its happened once already.

This is where the market has taken us, and this is where i am comfortable.

I have been a longtime member there, have my Red Epic in my "sig", and often wade into threads bashing Red to at least try and provide an even view of things.

It can get stupid at times.
