i have used compressor for all the files that were not shot 16x9.
unfortunately i have an entire day's worth of footage to output that was shot at 16x9 so the quicktimes crash compressor. :/

Even with me setting the option to 1.4 medium the process going from the r3d files to a 1024x512 proxy quicktime is agonizingly slow. i can play the files back at near realtime (24fps) on the mbpro...

however some of the wrappers were not made on set (camera had the setting off) so i wanted to make the wrappers.

easy as pie...

the {} gets replaced by the file name you need the \; to denote the end of the command
