Interested depending on price and if it's free shipping like the ones he is selling currently on ebay. And if my location (Norway) is not a problem.
Same here, unaccurate when on the right or far right of the screen , it misses the box. Same on the far left. Works perfect around the middle of
the sensor.
wow!, if this chart is true, you have reached about the same dynamic as the human eye can perceive. Where to go from here? Aboslutely stoked about the trade in program for Scarlet!
You should not buy the Scarlet if you just have the money for the camera itself (speaking from experience) as accessories is really expensive in RED-land. I have already spent as much on acessories...
My tip: Keep ISO at 320 add fast lens and then introduce more light if the lens doesen't do the trick.
I always try to keep ISO at 320 in low light and 800 in daylight. Seems weird but that's how I...
Great update RED, thank you!
A few bug i've come across:
* Seems that when i go to 1:1 zoom , ISO has no effect on monitor path anymore
* When I press record dirctly from playback, the image...
Ok, so I get the redray box with 4k delivery capability...what am going to watch the 4k image on? The 25k Sony tv I have in my living room? Does it also output a 1080p image I can monitor today?(and...
What camera settings did you use ? particualarly FPS and Shutter, but also Aperture, ISO etc.
Well I guess theres always an exception to the rule. I once turned off stabilization on the Sony EX-3 on a big multicam shoot because we were mostly on tripod and steadicam. Every single shot was...
Scarlet #1717 "Saga" - Steinar Andersen
I think Red is in a bit of a pickle right now over the dragon update, because they have stated that a dragon update would be more expesive for Scarlet than Epic, i.e more than $6k. I would rather...
Totally agree. The RED One MX is a better camera (at least spec-wise) than the Scarlet-X at half the price. I always figured RED would do something to keep Scarlet relevant /up to date when they...
just had a revelation shooting stills with the Scarlet. It really does work better than I could imagine. Had a visit from my brother and my little niece this weekend and decided to take some "photos"...
best one by far. Only one that has the sharpness but not overdone, and the touch of grain is nice. A commercial about cancer needs to have ha little warmth/ligthness in the colors to contrast against...
great update, but my camera/monitor still freezes(can still move around the menus but changing settings does not take effect) when I try to enter playback mode when operatig with V-mount...
I was on a shoot today and it would have really helped to have this feature. Instead I had to rely on peaking which is not accurate enough when you need critical focus. Come on Red, even my 7D can do...
How do you get the upgrade, do they contact you about it or do you have to contact them?
Having the same exact issue....works with both redvolt in the side handle and the power adapter but the V-lock freezes camera in playback. Mine does not work with v-lock after changing to power...
Would be nice to have a way to monitor what the X-track is actually recording though, a switch between X and A track (if this exists please let me know, because I haven't found it).
Yup, same here. You don't have to bother with the imperial stuff:P Take the first step in helping the USA make the switch. Anyone who are capable of shifting decimal points can work with the metric...
I've had this problem before....If the song you played back on set had a sample rate of 44100 khz and the camera record audio at 48000khz, then the camera will effectively resample the song to...
As far as I can gather black shading will help getting rid of fixed pattern noise, and not general noise in the picture. The way I check if there is any fixed pattern noise is to put a lens cap on...
camera freezes when pressing playback button using a battery source that does not transmit battery information (works when using Redvolts). At least the image freezes, can use the menus, but not...
Just starting...
