You should be able to select all clips in the Media Pool then 'change source folder' . You might have to navigate to the correct folder level.

Always had connection problems with the MC Color, might be just me but always find myself restarting everything to get up and running. Buttons are a little small and balls too high. Not all functions...
Remember to use your midtones or curves, the blacks will crush very easily so be careful.
Do as much as possible with the primaries then window off the brighter areas.
Not too blue, and I always...
You can now add the grain/scratch/fogging into the Media pool as a matte, do not associate to a single clip. The matte should have a little ident on it.
Go to Track mode and use Johns method above...
It is a good idea to make format presets in the settings page. eg 1080 @ 2398, 720 @ 25, 2k @ 24 etc.
I always make presets but always double check frame rates before adding media
I would like to invite you to the International Colorist Academy's (ICA) meet and greet with special guest Colorist from Australia, Warren Eagles. He will be showing Resolve 9 working with Raw files...

You can still change the whole project by accessing the RAW camera tab in the new settings page. Hit the gear icon bottom left of the GUI to get to the settings page.
I love the new RAW camera...
So are you saying the BMD panel should be $3500?........that panel was $60,000 before BMD got hold of it.

Interesting tread, good reading.
As a colorist of 25 years and a Resolve user for 7, I can relate to both sides.
I will add that the tutorials will get you up and running in 3 days, but after 7...
Saw it last week, looking V good. If you are building a system then go for a 27" GUI monitor. The extra real estate helps.
Go for it, it will be fine, I upgraded mid project recently, all good.
Just right click on the clip in the Conform page, hit 'change clip speed' then change to -24

Yes you can start with the Track Ball panel only, then add.
If you add the Kb you also need the Bt for either to work
In input, that means you will only change the clip you are on.
Output will effect the whole timeline.
The Resolve manual explains all the buttons and controls very well but has no tutorials or workflow advice
Takes 2 hours to read and is free
Online is a great way to get started. There are lots...
Nice Movie Patrick, if you need any Resolve help give me a shout, not in the same timezone, but at least we are in the same country.

Are you at 10bit on the RED settings?
Hi,
The ICA is looking for Epic footage, especially HDRx that we can use in our classes worldwide. If you can clear any footage, camera tests maybe, please contact me.
I am looking for beauty...
I have just scheduled an extra ICA Resolve 101 class starting this Monday-Wednesday. This is an entry level Resolve class, that runs at a friendly relaxed pace. The aim is to get you up to speed on...
I think it is much more about the guy/gal on the tools now. My clients don't really care wether I run a free DaVinci or a Baselight. The want to see great pictures and if I can attempt to entertain...
