Is it even possible to have the MOD12 instead of the MOD24 module on the DSMC2 module as I don't see this option on their site?

Aren't you trading DR if you use LL mode lower than 3200? 800LL will give you cleaner shadows but your sell 2+ stops of highlights as compared to 800standard.

Is the DSMC2 RED approoved?
Is it still a prototype? Or are there some user feedback?

Do the P-Tap output come from the internal battery feed or directly from the Vlock (without buffer)?

If it’s a Dragon sensor the pixel size would be the same. So 6k is 30,72 mm.

So do we know if this 5k ->6k software challenge for Dragon-X will be effective? I'm ready to send my camera in for the 4995.-- upgrade to unified body with IPP2 goodies.

I also was interested in the DSMC2 model (well it's Reduser...)

The pins are pushed in. They come out when I use canned air but drop in again when slightly pushed.
Like there wouldn't be any spring pushing them out. I used some WD40 drop to try to wake the...

But this module was on the brain since day 1, 3 years ago. I wonder if I had a power draw problem. Still sorting this out with the (very proactive) Red support.

Is it due to humidity? Shortcut? I don't see what could cause...

Excellent for gimbal use or mounted camera. But on a shoulder? It's so tiny you should build more stuff around it to have it on your shoulder, like v-lock battery and an audio and teradek module......

That's really small! impressive.
I wonder if it ever could be a shoulder camera or more a handheld/gimbal camera?

Framing on a 3 inch screen is challenging. If only it could be 1920x1080 screen we could put a loupe on it and frame like on a Rolleiflex.

I’m more worried about the position of the mic and headphones input than UI design.

I also thought the challenge was offered only for Weapon MG with 6k Dragon owners...

Now RED could reconsider rebake some 6k Dragons and offer that upgrade path for non 6k Dragons owners... ?...

Or for a smaller package you could use the Sonosax SX-M2D2
And the Mini-Cmit from Schoeps.

We spoke and asked a lot about the Monstro 6k cutout.
RED never spoke about it, so it's probably a technical no go for them.
Otherwise they would have offered it in their new camera line instead...
