Our Sidearms hold the entire camera. They were designed to allow you to mount your camera sideways if need be..hence the witness mark on the centerline of the lens.

FYI..Viewfactor Sidearms have been designed for this since day one. We have a lens center-line mark on the arms for such shots

Actually the loop is part of the strap. It is one continuous loop with all metal links. We did pull tests but do not want to officially rate it. Lets just say it can hold plenty of weight as...

The loop is for whatever you decide. We have found it useful for a climbing d-ring attachment point.

Standard works with ET Hybrid. That is the most common. Tim, Curt will be posting an update this evening on the VF forum on our site.

The ARRI Plate is slightly shorter. The current FMJ-lightweight and sidearms do not work with the ARRI Plate but we are in the process of making one that will. We have the ARRI sidearms on the store.
