You will get assessed GST based on the value of the item, not the purchase price, as you are an importer in this scenario, not a customer.

LivePlay does not record locally on the iPad. It needs a server running on a full computer to feed it video.

That said, shouldn't a standard 3.5mm TRS to TRS cable work in this instance? The Sennheisers have a 3.5mm TRS balanced mono output...
The submission master is Digibeta - and given the remote sites receive via (foxtel) satellite there's not much chance of HD outside Sydney anyway.
It would be nice if they accepted HD and put that...
We graded it in-house here (on Color!) at Inspiration Studios. It was Roar's camera.
AFAIK the camera is unbalanced only at the moment. The 'balanced' option does not really work I think.
So, tape over the ring contact on the input plug or find a way to convert the balanced output...
It's the same everywhere... not too bad once you're 40m away.
That said, they were fiddling with the settings during another film I graded, and it pissed me off.
