RED gets it. That simple.
Saw it today in HFR 3D projected with a NEC 3200 projector (2K) with a 6kW lamp. I went in with an open mind, but expecting not to like it. Easily the best 3D experience ever, not even close, and...
nice, but that's not a bikini!
For those who haven't been following along, the Samurai now records Avid DNxHD too with the latest firmware.
No issues here, although I only tried one 2.7K test clip. I'm running 6.0.2 on a mid 2011 AIR. The footage should look sweet on a Retina display.

I'd be all over this if the 3 year warranty applied to the rocket card too! :)
I have a 9" red arm. Then ordered a 9" NOGA arm. Build quality and functionality exactly the same except the RED arm is much more compact even though same length. Wish I had ordered a second RED...

Yeah say you had a 500MB-1GB partition that you could use to store firmware and camera presets, etc. So you have two partitions, a utility partition, and a footage partition. The camera still...
I think a small partition is a better and cheaper idea. You use a utility on your computer to format the SSD and create a small utility partition that can store presets and firmware. Then you can...
