It's a proprietary RED connector on RED DSMC2 cameras for passing through data to/from RED-approved DSMC2 modules (eg. DSMC2 BASE EXPANDER, DSMC2 V-LOCK I/O EXPANDER, DSMC2 JETPACK EXPANDER etc.).

It looks like the dailies recorded the full sensor (to an external recorder?) while the R3D captured a smaller than full sensor resolution.
