and why.. does it have to be a NEW proprietary media system requiring expensive new SSD's and proprietary media reader?

No. last we were told Red is working on redesigning parts.
No cameras are being upgraded.

Id LOVE to have the 5K FOV with 2K or 3k etc files option if it was available. And 6K>3K say :-)
Not a choice for every shoot but it would be amazing to have that choice!

I power the Arrow transmitter from Dtap on my Viewfactor Anton Bauer battery plate using theViewfactor PTAP-USB adapter.

This outputs 5V 1Amp which is exactly what the transmitter...

fair enough. But can you imagine all the people at last years event wanting to be in one night club?
