I recently got a Vinten Vision 10 fluid head and I can say it is built like a tank and works as if it was brand new out the box...

I would suggest getting on eBay too and buying Vinten...amamzing...

I use a lot of nikon glass from 24mm all the way to 600mm (I used nikon professionally for photography)

You can get a lot of older glass for nikon that produces amazing video for very little money...
