I would agree but then again, many of us also edit. We also market. We rent. So, I don't think it harms to ask what tools sound folks use. We may or may not be the one operating it...

Must agree with Jeff. I think the Mac Pro will morph. The old way of editing will continue to change. We'll be cutting with swipes and dragging footage in. Not yet but eventually.

+1 on the erase last clip. +2 on the undo erase last clip (i.e. have the footage resume recording elsewhere on the card till it must erase that clip...) if this is possible.

• Instead of a list when viewing back your footage, I prefer thumbnails. It helps to see the shots. At least have the option to switch between the two.
