Thanks for your tip, but i meant 1080p so don't guess that would change much. I didn't scale to frame cose I wanted to have the 4K image to be able to play with, crop, stabilize,etc.

@Andy: I used to work with HD formats of all kinds and even RED ONE MX at 36mb/s. now im working with 6:1 codec, yeah I thought of going Offline/online but couldnt wait 24hours to transcode to start...

So I do need to work with 2-3 layers max? That really sucks cose I want to have many performances that I can back and forth without having to resync and search for everything.
