Cinevate Atlas 30 with their motorized option is probably the best cluck for your buck. Smooth reliable moves that use the ditogear controller.
The tokina 11-16 has been problematic at infinity for lots of users. Some lenses are ok, others not. Prob not your backfocus.

Try reflashing the firmware to the latest "release" build.
Also, try cleaning all the contacts on both the canon lenses as well as the RED Mount. Just wipe them down with a lens cleaning...
