You can try what we did for Knowing VFX shots, but its a double-hit...

1. R3D to linearlight 16bit tiff
2. Shake script conversion to OpenEXR

Apply a LUT at your discretion..... we left it...

Ours (2180) came back from RED apparently without any alterations to it. They couldn't replicate the problem I was having.
I ran a few more long record tests and sure enough the camera...

Our cam #2180 is still at Red trying to sort this same freeze/reboot issue, and as of late last week they hadn't been able to replicate the problems I was having.
We don't have the audio board...

The first thing I noticed from those photo's is the curved corners of the projection gate mask.... never seen that in a commercial cinema before, only in our own projection/review room before it was...
