True, but if Discspace and Offload-Times are an issue (lets say 2 x 64 GB SSD) i would opt for smaller res too ... from time to time

well this is not really an commercial "offering" its just a desperate workaround:
Bag with akkus was stolen on set and left my DP4 without Power, so my AC ripped
the VF4 off the Monitor. 5 Minutes...

hm ... unfortunately i never saw the "non touch" LCD-Version ... but if the dimensions are the same
as the touch-LCD, i would see no reason, why this shouldn't work.

A Solution that was born out of despair and turned out to be pretty handy ;-)
