If you ordered the kit, it should have come with the AC power adapter. I would contact RED about it.
I have been using a stylus on the touch lcd and it has work flawlessly. I also had to send my redmote back as the enter button wasn't working either.
I'm glad Tyler Durden wasn't using my computer that day.

Is this happening in Red Cine X? Did you reboot your computer? I had an issue similar to that when taken through Cine X every second or so would be either a white frame/lots of digital noise/ or...
Yeah, the plate is large enough to handle both. I am using the smaller easy plate and it works just fine.
I'm having the same problem with mine as well. I received it this afternoon. I noticed the enter button wasn't working, then upgraded the firmware thinking that was the issue. Still a no go.
