Thanks David for all you efforts in making this happen.
Wanted to ask a vest question, are they available in different sizes or one size fit all? I'm a stocky guy 6'4 270 lbs, will this be a very...
My pick... New electronic lenses, using a new Red mount. Complete with iLink data, IS, and a whiz bang superfast AF guaranteed to make your head spin....
C'mon.... pleeze....? :hurray:
We shot him at the Hollywood raceway a couple years back, really cool guy. Your track looked WAYYYY more death-defying than our cone outlined parking lot. :)
Pretty funny man! Reminded me of my first day unpacking, except I had two of'm for stereo, thinking how friggn' broke I was gonna be for a long time and the fact that there was no way they could...
I was told probably never for HDRx, and I'm not sure about TL, definitely want to test that tho'.
Theoretically I was hoping if one camera is slaved to a master camera with time-lapse enabled, it...
Obviously the level of interest in this thread demonstrates the need for alternate solutions to the pricey professional systems that I myself and others have been longing for, but has been always out...
I've had pretty good success in Nuke and in Flame. Stabilize L_eye, apply data to R. easy as that.
There has been instances where one of the cameras might exhibit a slightly different amount of...
Thanks for the test imagery Mark! Very helpful to push the sensor that much and see those results.
I'm with ya on this one. The 18-50 works great and I found a great set of 72mm screw-on diopters for it!
Jason, thanks for the step by step!
Thanks Brent.
I'll be speaking with him later and hope we can sort it out.
The transaction list I ordered which I was hoping would add clarity only brings more questions so I think this is...
I don't know about anyone else, but I find Red's account statements somewhat confusing in regards to these stage packages.
Stage 3 was paid in full. If there are components that aren't ready to...
That's what I was looking for... GREAT shots!
Is it me or does Totality seem a little thick this time around? I remember the ring used to be real thin, perhaps due its my thicker glasses :)
I'd love to see a 50 or 100 mil 'battletested' prime...! :cornut:
I thought Jarred said in Recon 'not this year' for the Red electronic lenses.
I've been holding my breath on an announcement on these...
I've got two of'm, for stereo work. Not exactly matched and the focus marks could use some work, but very sharp and one of my personal favorites.
Can't go wrong with a battle-tested 18mm IMO....
You're right about the Solar filter...I guess I was thinking most of my shooting would happen in transit when the sun is mostly occluded. I'll start looking thanks!
LMAO! We are the D, We are the D, We are the D, We are the D, We are the D, We are the D, We are the D, We are the D, We are the D!
I've been thinking about this shot possibility as well. You guys have any filter preferences for this?
I was thinking of an ND & possibly a pola on the longest lens I can find.
nope, the 1/4 20 screw goes direct to your bottom plate, attaches with a metal buckle. Only drawback I've run into is the Epic won't sit upright with the 1/4 20 threaded into the plate (obviously)...
