the 512mag - allows SLIGHTLY lower compression - BUT frames rates are the same (frames rates are all about the sensor cycling....) So on the current Epic (non-Dragon the chart Phil posted is correct.

awhile back - Jim stated that the internal 1TB drive on the REDRay Player would hold approx -> 100 hours of 4K material in the .RED codec

I was so close to pulling the trigger that day - stood in line..... but alas not to be-> that day. But now - Epic in hand.

for sharpening - use the post effects "Unsharp Mask' tool set (in the Post-Looks-Effects -> tab)

if your using a Rocket - those are not enabled

really interesting that so many of you underwater shooters (with Epics) were all shooting the Hammerheads...same place/same time ( ....6-7 of you and what 8-9 Epics...?)

last year the RED party was Sunday evening (no announcement yet for this year...) BUt lots of corporate parties that start Sunday and usually go thru wednesday late into the night - EVERY nite!

Great - look forward to this years 2013 RED Party! Last years was a hoot... all the 4K films being shown in 4K and of course all the REDUsers !
