True about the size, but on top of proxies, what you have there is a whole power distribution system as well as video distribution. By the time you add that to the proxy module, I bet the sizes won't...

My request to RED would be to have a playback mode that only plays the off speed clips, one after the other with SDI flags that would trigger an external recorder, for separate clips.
