Have you had a chance to compare some RED footage projected on a 4KDCP at the SXRD and the same footage on a 2k CP2000???
After I edited on FCP can I open a EDL or XML file in REDCINE and work with the 4k .r3d files??? Will REDCINE assemble the files???

That would just change the orientation of the problem, not fixing it. To me the problem is how to get on a single frame with just one set of exposition and orientation, fixing the strobe and skew...
Great test!!! It appears that the strobe and skew are the same problem. Film cameras capture, despite the shutter angle, a "real" frame, and whatever light is in that frame, that’s what you get, so...
Actually there is a lot of skew. As Rudi mentioned if you just look at the lamp post in the background, the one on the right side of the frame, you will notice that the post "line" shifts 4 or 5...
