Could we say that HFR 3D is like going to a theater and watching a live stage play / live show ?
For the run'n'gun gigs, the Panasonic AC160A is the best choice today : highly versatile optics & very light.
The left pic is live feed from a RED One attached to a long range tracking telescope. ^^
They use RED Ones in the capsule and on ground. ^^
Why you would need a color reference ? You shoot in a RAW format.
I don't see the point to use a 15K$ to 30K$ cinecam with a consumer stabilizer... You have tons of great steadi tools out there for real pro use : Tiffen, GPI, Aigle and so on...
You're perfectly right but I would disable ANY lense stabilisation while using a steadicam system.
Are you sure it doesn't occur all the time ? Frame skipping is more obvious on steadicam shots because you're in perpetual movement. Check every frame with a digital slate on your tripod shots.

Check the AVC ULTRA products from Panasonic. 4:4:4 12 bits for everyone !
Is that a flycam you use ?
Everybody I know wants to sell that piece of .... from Bollywood. It's a bad copy of Glidecam which an imitation of the original Steadicam from Tiffen.
It's 565 $. The 4K RAW recording unit on the FS700 is the Sony HXR-FMU128. It fits like a battery.
Check the Sony booth @ NAB.
The next 4K cams (Canon & JVC) process a lot of data with real time full debayering without any fan : the miracle of low power components.
Héhé, on aura droit à des images de la Grand' Place j'espère ?
Wow, looks like you shot in an untextured 3D world. :D
Yup and it's also softer because no edge enhancer or contrast enhancer is applied : it's a RAW format.
No problem with your camera or lenses. It's quite normal you get a soft picture at 100% because it's a BAYER pattern and not a full RGB sensor. The other pixels are interpolated.
That's right. It's a cinecam, light is needed...
Can't find your thread anymore. What happened ? O_o
In .png would be better so no compression artifacts. But I agree what Arnold said : it's really noisy even on these small screenshots.
Too bad you added some grain : impossible to see if it's noise or grain.
Can you upload full resolution screenshots in .PNG or .R3D ?
That's a fair price.
And don't forget the alarm code !

The Falconbrid supports 4K2K but unfortunately you have to split the 4K stream because there's no single SD card today that can supports that amount of data/sec and no real 4K codec yet.
Some ppl...
I guess that you should put that money in a second full kit. A full shooting day wasted costs up to 500 000 $ a day for serious productions...and small short movies up to 20 000 $ a day. And you...
