Just to clarify I am using a DVI>HDMI cable right now to drive my Panasonic plasma from my card. I can send 1920x2160@60hz witch syncs no issue or 3840x2140@30hz which will work for a few seconds. It...

Thanks for the update with your testing. Too bad its probably just a 6-bit panel. Still amazing for the price. I still wonder what would happen if you send it 2 seperate 1920x2160@60p in ports HDMI 1...
My Evga 560ti 448 will output 4k
Can you post a link to where he said this? Seems very odd this would be the case.
I'd rather use an EF converted Konica 40mm 1.8, but its nice that Canon is making a pancake.
Photoshop plugin is awesome! Works simply and is perfect
Should release this summer
If it does output 4k, probably will be extremely fillrate limited, you may see one or two games at full 4k res. It would be nice if the output upscaled everything to 4k, and then output a...
V-lites, Bruce and an Epic. Doesn't get any better than that.
Most stuff has been ported over to 64-bit - OFX Sapphire runs fine, Neat Video, Magic Bullet Looks, Twixtor Pro, Boris Effects. I have 16GB of ram and easily fill it when previewing - would be...
Updates show up in realtime for me. Preview in Best Auto plays back full fps, and I can add effects (even Magic Bullet) and preview them at full fps. Needs RC3 support now.
Well that's the full answer I wanted to hear. The 20mm flange depth on 4/3 is too close to the sensor on the epic/scarlet to create even a dumb mount that is inset in comparison to the 40mm+ flange...
Hilarious and actually brilliant, just slap his Canon mount on scarlet and send it back out the door.
I hope they become a reality, at the same time it would be great if they were 1.3x
Congrats on the camera. Glad engadget joined the party.
LOL. Yes, looks like a DSLR from 2020, when they start recording raw. You can't in any way compare this to an 8-bit 4:2:0 camera
There are all sorts of dumb mount adapters for every other camera out there. If scarlet is as popular as I assume it will be, ebay will be full of dumb mount adapters within months.
D'oh, makes sense why we don't see adapters then. I guess it would need to be a mount directly on the scarlet then. The market for such an adapter would probably be very small as well.
Looking at that list, I would bet there are a few 4/3 lenses that would cover the 3840x2160 mode. The GH2 sensor in 16:9 is 19 mm x 10.7mm. I've never seen a 4/3 adapter for eos or pl, but it would...
I sit 3 feet away from my GT25 42" plasma I use as a computer monitor. 4k and higher would make a big difference. 1080p is not enough workspace for most media and media editing applications
I hope we get one frame of Sam Raimi's classic posted on Reduser. He's got to hide it in OZ somewhere.
