I'm using it to, manual focus is best, but it is working, aperture control also.
Really nice lens, I still have to do some tests to see how it does stopped down.
This is my favorite lens and I've got the Canon 16-35mm 2.8L.

Too busy, that bokeh, for my taste. Too frenetic. I also don't like how sharp areas fall off - it looks too different from cine lenses. We never shoulder-shoot anything except maybe 24 or 35 (and this for the rough look, deliberately shaky) so IS is of no interest. Other L lenses are much more appealing to me, but I'm not just after sharpness. To me all Ls are plenty sharp in 1080p which is the final output of 100% of our work.
Got our Scarlet with Ti Canon mount yesterday. I really love the build quality of the mount, and tested it with a few of our lenses. I was able to autofocus, confirm or work fully manual.
But I couldn't find out how to control focus with the REDmote. Shouldn't this be possible? How do I configure the wheel to control a lens?
TIA
canon ef 15mm f2.8. Everything's cooler. Through a fish eye lens!
