Sachtler Hot Pod 10 CF tripod (100mm mount)
For sale a Sachtler Hot Pod 10 carbon fiber tripod in very good condition. It shows the regular scrapes of use, but everything works properly. 100mm bowl mount. Please note-- the Sachtler DV12SB head is NOT included in this sale. $999 [reduced 3/9] plus shipping (or pick up in New York City).
A really nice general purpose tripod, its features are quick set-up, rapid height adjustment (just unlock the column to move a couple inches between interview subjects), and-- perhaps its most overlooked feature-- ability to go really high. With the legs extended and the pneumatic column raised, you can get your base up to almost 6 feet! As you'd expect from a Sachtler design, the column itself is much more stable than the photo tripod center columns it resembles.
While I imagine that other heads with M10 screw fit it, it was originally designed for the DV10SB or DV12SB.
