Strangest Glitch - after latest Firmware - no power.

I upgraded to 7.1.0.1 yesterday, and when i powered on the camera after update, i got a low votage warning and the camera shut down.

I can house power the camera through the base expander, but either battery or house power through RED AB plate is no go on voltage.

I downgraded to 7.0.4, the 2nd to last firmaware, and the plate will supply power, but now i cant see my voltage any longer. Its just blank, where the voltage should be.

With 7.0.4 after the update to 7.1.0.1 problem, i lost the ability to see the Voltage in camera. Was working beofre, now its lost the ability to do it. I went back 3 Firmware versions, and the Votage readout is permanently gone. Very annoying. It wont even shot "DC" anymore.... I reseated the AB plate, and the base expander, cleaned the contacts, reflashed, nothing....

Thoughts? Any one else experience this?

I had a similar issue but i have the wooden camera cabless plate on my epic-w. Apparently wooden camera offered a board upgrade for this battery back and it now has an SD card reader for firmware updates. They are sending me the board. Could it be your battery back isn’t getting updated? Did you try and re=seat it?

I did reseat it. I have a WC top plate. Maybe it’s messing with it.

Maybe the module got updated with the latest firmware, but then when you downgraded the firmware on the camera it doesn’t downgrade the firmware on the module (hence functional, but basic function/blank)...

...I dunno, I’m freeballin’/guesstimating.

I'm having exactly the same problems at the moment. I had never issues like that and did an upgrade to 7.3.0 today and suddenly my camera shuts down every time booting after 10 sec, because of low voltage. I tried everything from downgrading to different firmwares, to hardware resets etc. but nothing helps (the Camera shuts down now after 30sec, which isn't a great improve). I'm desperately searching for help an inputs, as we are shooting tomorrow! I have a Tilt backplate from 2018, if that could be a point!

If you are able to pull a new log file from your camera please include that in your submission, and let the team all accessories that were attached when the issues starting occurring so they can help troubleshoot for you.
