Hi guys,

I had a situation come up where I need a stock image library set up for all my existing photoshoots. I basically need my own simplified version of istockphoto running ideally on wordpress.

With a client login, all my photo shoots organised in galleries and a lightbox system. I found this plugin for wordpress: http://graphpaperpress.com/plugins/sell-media/ but my wordpress knowledge is very limited.

are there any wordpress wizards here looking for some paid work ? if so, please contact me asap with your rates.

Asking for advice, or any thoughts:

I have a short clip that I want to put in my demo reel where the actor has a gash on his face. Not totally huge, but the make up is stellar, and using a 100mm Leica APO Macro, it is pretty sharp. There is a lot of dynamic tension in this clip, and it fits perfectly with the clip preceding it in my reel... I want to keep it in, but not sure if this would be a turn off for certain prospective clients?

Any opinions? Am I over thinking this?

Thanks!

Building anything on 'Green Belt' land in the UK is always a contentious issue and i can see why the vote was so close. Still, it's not good for Pinewood or UK film as a whole. I think back to RED when Jim bought prime real estate in Las Vegas, but nothing happened and it's now about Red Studios Hollywood. It's not easy to start somewhere new and Pinewood need to expand somewhere.....

long story short.... I hate all of our gear distributed throughout a bunch of pelican cases for storage/portability....

we're in the process of trying to figure out how to store all of our media gear in our office... and have a modular approach to "grab and go" what we need...

from cameras, lenses, batteries, memory cards, crane parts, sliders... lighting... etc....

the challenge... space... we don't have alot of room... :)

i'm sure that there are some VERY innovative people on this board... that have crossed this threshold already... what were some of your solutions?

And it's quite far from what Mr Jannard and Land is trying to do. This one will be an evil beast that flies around and snags people of their rooftop terraces and wil lub the mass consumption in the east. In other words we are creating a CG dragon for a commercial... For now she's work in progress and not textured just yet, hence the red color.

Its becoming a tradition I believe, well as long as I live in south france to pack up my 2cV with as much wine as possible and hit the road for the Cannes
Film festival.

I have not secured a badge this year, if anyone has an extra I would greatly appreciate it! I arrive friday and will have plenty of wine to go around so look out for the 1979 2cV and a guy with terrible french
I look forward to the showcase and hopefully meeting some redusers there.

If anyone has some suggestions or recommendations or your own films then feel free to share here...

Cheers
I've noticed the the Apple LED displays get a lot of praise around here when the "budget monitor" discussion gets opened up, but since the LG EA83 is quite new I've been struggling to find some professional feedback on it around the internet.
